Winning Ugly with the New England Patriots

The New England Patriots may not be the prettiest team, the most graceful, and certainly not the most spectacular team to watch, but they win. So who cares? So long as the NFL doesn’t start awarding style points, winning is all it takes to keep going and that’s just what the Patriots did this past weekend against the Chicago Bears. In a game that featured nine turnovers, the Pats managed to pull ahead late in the game and win 17-13. Things do seem to be looking up for the Patriots in the home stretch. They are 11th in the league in rushing, averaging 124.9 yards per game and 3rd in rush defense, allowing 83.2 yards per game. They are also ranked 8th in total scoring, averaging 23 points per game while their defense ranks 2nd in points allowed, giving up only 13.09 points per game.
