New England Patriots Lose to Miami Dolphins

The New England Patriots suffered a 21-0 shutout at the hands of the Miami Dolphins today.  Tom Brady and the Patriots offense just could never get the ball moving the direction they wanted it to.  Miami sacked Brady four times, forced him to fumble twice, and held him to 78 yards.  New England’s best play was an illegal pass forward, said The Boston Globe.  It was that kind of day for the Patriots and Tom Brady.

The Patriots return home next weekend for their final home game of the season against the Houston Texans.  New England Patriots Tickets to the December 17 Texans game cost anywhere between $75 and $750.

Patriots Coach Bill Belichick could only shrug after the embarrassing loss.  “It was clear who was the better team out there today,” was all he could say.

Cory Dillon

Cory Dillon only managed 79 yards on 16 carries and the Patriots rushing team could only put up 123 yards of total rushing and 90 yards of total passing.  Brady was just 12-of-25 and was pulled from the game for Matt Cassel with five minutes left in the game.  The last time the Patriots lost on the road was November 27, 2005 to Kansas City.
