The New England Patriots will play their final home game of the regular season this upcoming December 17 when they will take on the Houston Texans.  New England Patriots Tickets remain available to the game through Stubhub.com.  Fans are paying anywhere from $69 to $750 to watch the Patriots as they try to secure a playoff berth.

The Patriots are coming off a humiliating defeat at the hands of the Miami Dolphins this past weekend in which the Pats got shut out and now stand with a record of 9-4.  While all we can do at this point is trust in Bill Belichick, we also have to keep in mind that these are not the same Patriots of years past.  Kraft got stingy this past off-season and was not willing to cough up the cash to keep Viniteiri, Branch, or McGinist.  The offensive line has struggled all season, there have been too many injuries on defense, and the whole teams is penalty happy it would appear.

The Patriots now stand as 12th in the NFL in rushing yards per game (121.2), 16th in turnovers, 11th in points scored (21.6), and 3rd in Red-Zone efficiency.  These are not bad figures by any stretch of the imagination.  Defensive figures are solid too.  The Pats are 3rd in yards allowed per game (86.4), 3rd in points allowed (14.3), and 2nd in TDs allowed in the Red-Zone.
