As it stands, it appears that the New England Patriots will have to come from off the pace to get back to another Super Bowl. The AFC is loaded, and the Ravens and Chargers appear to be poised to battle it out for the AFC title. Not to mention, the Colts will be there again, and road playoff games are awfully tough to win in the NFL.
Does this mean that New England Patriots tickets will not be historic this season, based on all of the above? It’s WAY too early to make that determination. The Patriots have come through a season that was difficult in many ways, but in the NFL, it only takes a couple of pieces to contend.
The Patriots have those pieces. They have what many consider to be the best coach in the NFL in Bill Bellicheck and the best QB in Tom Brady. Much the same way as teams of the past that included Joe Montana, Bill Walsh, Brett Favre in his prime and others, the Patriots are always a threat with these two, and they should never be discounted.
Overall, no team wants to face the Patriots, even at home. Stay tuned, as the team is going to make noise in the playoffs.
