Wilfork to Return vs. Titans

Although the game against the Titans this weekend means little to the Patriots in terms of standings or playoff seeding, the team will get a boost on its defense with the return of Vince Wilfork.  Wilfork has missed the team’s last two games after spraining his ankle against the Dolphins.

The biggest reason the team is happy to have Wilfork back is because of the need for him to get some game work before the playoffs begin.  He’s a vital cog to the Patriots’ tough run D, and the last thing they wanted was for him to head into the playoffs rusty.  Wilfork probably won’t play his usual number of snaps, but this will be a good test to measure his recovery.
