New England Patriots upset Tennessee Titans

The Tennessee Titans were looking to do the impossible yesterday against the New England Patriots. After losing the first five games of the NFL regular season, the Titans were looking to become the first team in NFL history to still make the playoffs after such an abysmal start to the season. The Patriots shut them down and made sure that the Titans wouldn’t be making history. Tom Brady and Vinny Testeverde each threw for a touchdown a-piece and Cory Dillon rushed for two touchdowns as the Patriots topped the Titans 40-23 on Sunday. The Jets will take on the Patriots

The Patriots will take on the Jets in the first round of the playoffs. The Jets beat the Patriots earlier this season in New England by a score of 17-14. After that victory, the Jets got the confidence boost they needed to surge and win the wild card in the AFC. Now they have to do something no other team has done in the Belichick-Brady era. Beat the Patriots twice.
