Patriots-Jets to be an Interesting Wild Card Match-Up

The sub-plots are already brewing in anticipation of next weekend’s showdown between the Patriots and the surprising New York Jets at Gillette Stadium.  There is the shocking appearance in the playoffs by the Jets.  There is the perceived dynamic, or lack thereof, between the coaches.  There is the age-old rivalry as two long-time divisional foes meet with everything on the line.

Simply put, and as the Boston Herald points out, these two teams do not like each other for many reasons.  This all combines to make for a very intriguing game, and it has to feel to the Jets like all the pressure is on the Patriots, as they are favored and expected to advance.
