Showing Brady some Love

As if the man needed any more praise heaped on him, ESPN.com’s Gene Wojciechowski has written an article extolling the many virtues of New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady.  People had better get ready for this type of stuff now, because with only a few weeks left in the regular season and no real road blocks left for the Pats, it’s going to be hard to find any real news to report on the team.  The Pats have the Jets this week, so expect CameraGate stories to pop up on this blog later in the week.  But for now, it’s all Brady love up in this piece.

The man will likely pass Peyton Manning in the single-season TD mark for quarterbacks this weekend.  He’ll then blow the record up the next week against the Dolphins in the last home game the Pats have this season.  Their final away game against the Giants will likely be a cakewalk, as the G-Men may well be resting their starters for the playoffs by then.  Brady will play the first half, throw another three or four touchdown passes and then sit the second half.  The Pats will be favored heavily in each of these games, and they officially now have a serious chance to run the table.  There, I said it.
