Brady Wins Another Award

Tom Brady officially has yet another trophy for Giselle to shine in the offseason.  Brady won the AP Offensive Player of the Year award, beating second place teammate and primary target Randy Moss by a wide margin.  Another of Brady’s receivers, Wes Welker, received a few votes, and Brett Favre got a vote as well.  For the non-math majors out there, that means that three of the four men who received votes for the offensive player of the year were Patriots.  The other one was Brett Favre.  Not bad company for Mr. Brady to be keeping, with his fellow Pats and a living legend.

This is just another of the stories you’re going to be seeing talking up the Patriots and how amazing they are.  For any other team, I would say that this could possibly backfire and cause the team to start believing their own hype and possibly take the game too lightly this weekend.  However, this is the New England Patriots we’re talking about, and they are coached by Bill Belichick.  They’re helmed by Tom Brady.  These men have won many Super Bowls.  They have heard all the hype.  They’ll come to play.  No matter how many glowing articles are written about them.
