Patriots Get No Love

With only a few days until the New England Patriots’ first playoff game of the season.  Apparently, because it has been a couple of weeks since the Patriots last won a game in convincing fashion, the naysayers are out in full force.  This article details all the reasons why the Jacksonville Jaguars will defeat the New England Patriots.  The author cites the Jags staunch defense and their impeccable run attack as the two main reasons for a Jacksonville victory.  There are many pundits and analysts out there who would be inclined to agree with Mr. Jeremy Green’s opinion of the game.  I am not one of them.

It seems to me that people have extremely short memories.  It was only a few weeks ago that everyone was saying it was Pittsburgh who had the best shot to take out the Patriots - for exactly the same reasons that people are piling on the Jags bandwagon now.  Bill Belichick has played the Jags before.  He’s seen all the tape.  He knows what they are going to do.  I guarantee you he has a game plan for the Jags.  He also has home field advantage, not to mention Tom Brady throwing the ball to Randy Moss.  Oh, also, the Patriots are undefeated.  But hey, if people want to pick the Jags, go right ahead.
