Belichick Says Spygate is Over

According to Bill Belichick, there are no new Spygate revelations forthcoming.  The generally silent coach said a few words about the scandal that has plagued the Patriots for nearly an entire year at this point.  His take on the situation was fairly simple.  He said that there would be no new information about the issue, and that the worst of it was now behind him and the team.  He also revealed that during his silence he has actually spoken to the Commissioner of the NFL yet again in response to the new allegations from former Patriots video assistant Matt Walsh.

This story has been dormant for awhile, but these new stories of Patriots’ employees speaking with Commissioner Goodell seem to hold a certain meaning to them that underlies the superficial story.  What this means is that the NFL has interviewed the men who they felt may have had more information to give about possible tapes and other information, they interviewed these men and they were happy with the information gleaned from said interviews.  I would be quite surprised if this story continues to have legs as the offseason drags on.
