Welker Hopes Next Year As Productive

With the Patriots continuing to just flatly refuse to make any news whatsoever, we have been forced to look far and wide for news stories.  It has become almost laughable, how hard we’ve had to stretch ourselves just to find something that resembles news.  Today is no different.  Today the Patriots didn’t decide to suddenly start talking nonstop about the draft.  No player has done anything to make headlines for any reason whatsoever.  It has just been another slow news day in the wonderful world of the New England Patriots.

So, with no real news to report, we come to this article about the next season for Wes Welker.  It’s really just a puff piece, but it’s a nice one.  It details Welker’s transition from NFL overachiever to prototypical slot receiver in the National Football League.  Because of the Patriots, everyone in the NFL is now looking for their version of Wes Welker.  After a career year, many are wondering how Welker can follow up last season.  Of course, that’s the real question for the entire team.  How the Patriots follow up last year will say a lot about this dynasty.
