Spygate was a bit of a media firestorm for the beloved (and wildly successful) New England Patriots. The events known as Spygate are known to every Pats fan now: In 2007, a Patriots employee started video taping defensive signals by the New York Jets while standing on the sidelines. Talk about being over-involved in winning the game.
An ex-employee and whistle blower eventually called him on it, and when the media got hold of the story, it exploded. The Pats claim they knew nothing about it and haven’t let the event interrupt their concentration on the one goal that must occupy every second of the team’s thoughts these days: Winning the Super Bowl. Fans should be happy to know that despite the kerfuffle, they’re not shaken up about it. Hopefully they just keep on keepin’ on and take themselves to the Bowl, then win that, too.
