Brady Chooses a Surgeon

Patriots quarterback Tom Brady is prepared to go long – for surgery, that is. The New England all-star has settled on a surgeon to operate on his injured left knee, and the lucky winner is Dr. Neal S. ElAttrache of the Kerlan-Jobe Orthopaedic Clinic in Los Angeles. ElAttrache is a well-known orthopedist across the country, specializing in sports medicine and, not surprisingly, knees. An employee at the prestigious Kerlan-Jobe Clinic, ElAttrache is a former surgeon for the Los Angeles Rams and currently works with sports teams like the Anaheim Mighty Ducks, St. Louis Rams, L.A. Dodgers, L.A. Lakers, L.A. Kings and the PGA Tour.

While Brady’s estimated time of arrival in Los Angeles for surgery is yet unknown, the quarterback is said to be on par for the procedure on the four-week mark of his injury, which occurred September 7. Brady’s decision to set up shop on the West Coast came for a number of personal and professional reasons, and it will allow the NFL superstar to be close to his son and family. Travel will be limited for Brady following his surgery, so all those Tom Brady fans out there will have to keep all eyes on the West Coast in the upcoming weeks.
