The New England Patriots are one of the dominant dynasties in NFL football, so when it comes to other media outlets it only makes sense that this is one team that is ahead of the pack. The Patriots have gone in stride with the recent technology craze of Facebook and phone applications (thank you, iPhone,) and it’s just been announced that the recently released Patriots Calendar App has already won over more than 12,000 fans.

Put into play in December, the Patriots Calendar App is a downloadable calendar that coincides with Patriots events and important dates, constantly updated and decorated with everything you’d ever desire to know about the New England Patriots, including up-to-date interviews, press conference videos, draft announcements, schedules and team history. The Calendar App was launched with the help of OView Event Viewer, and Bob Gett, the CEO at Optaros, recently made a statement concerning the Patriots’ newest endeavor, stating, “Starting with the launch of their website in 1995 – the first in professional sports – the Patriots have been true web innovators. They are once again leading the way as the first sports team to adopt application syndication through OView, truly embracing this new era of online marketing.”
