A Wild Ride with Randy Moss Motorsports

New England Patriots star receiver Randy Moss is a sports nut, and we’re not just talking about football. Moss’ endeavor with NASCAR began in 2008 when he teamed up with David Dollar to form Randy Moss Motorsports, and in 2009 the team is sponsoring two drivers in NASCAR’s Camping World Truck Series - both no. 5 Mike Skinner and No. 81 Tayler Malsam. Both Skinner and Malsam have had incredible seasons so far, with Skinner winning the Kansas race on April 27 and Malsam snagging a Top 10 finish last weekend at Charlotte.

Moss, still in the offseason while preparing for his run with the Patriots in the ‘09/’10 season, has been following NASCAR avidly this year, and the team owner recently made a statement that “everything has been positive. Positive feedback - you have a lot of guys that think their boy can change tires or drive. Everybody wants their friend in, but at the same time just them knowing me personally and them following NASCAR they think it’s a wonderful fit for me to be an owner and the success that we’re having.” How will Randy Moss Motorsports fare next weekend at Dover?
