Patriots Still Reflecting on Week 2 Stunner

Don’t look for the New England Patriots to be in the top five of the NFL’s power rankings this week. In fact, after just barely beating a mediocre Buffalo team in Week 1 and falling to the Jets on Sunday in Week 2 of the regular season, the Patriots have a lot of catching up to do to stay in the top 10 of this week’s rankings. The Patriots are still reflecting upon the stunning loss to the Jets last week after all the trash talking Rex Ryan and Co. have been doing over the last couple months, and you better believe Tom Brady is psyching himself up for next week, when New England plays the Atlanta Falcons in Week 3.

When asked about his thoughts on the Jets game, Brady said that, offensively, “we didn’t do much. We’re not really firing on all cylinders. It was poor executing a lot of the time. I’ve got to be more accurate.” With Wes Welker out of action Sunday and Randy Moss being swarmed by green and white defensive players, Brady had trouble hooking up with receivers, which is normally the Patriots’ strong point. Hopefully the Patriots will be back on track for next week’s big game, as the Falcons are currently 2-0!
